How ToolScout Affiliate Links Work

Understand affiliate links, editorial independence and how to evaluate software recommendations.

Guide last updated 12 October 2026

Some links on ToolScout may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, ToolScout may earn a commission at no additional cost to you, where applicable.

What that means for readers

A commission is not a guarantee that a product is right for you.
Product fit, limitations, privacy, accessibility and total cost still matter.
Providers can change features, prices and terms; confirm important details directly.
Recommendations should explain trade-offs rather than imply every product is suitable for everyone.

Please read the site’s affiliate disclosure and the provider’s current terms before purchasing.

Transparency: Some links on ToolScout may earn us a commission if you make a qualifying purchase, at no extra cost to you. See our affiliate disclosure. We aim to provide useful information to help you evaluate your options.
